Available Seconds
Why are items Discontinued?
I have been streamlining my offerings over the past month and I have decided to discontinue multiple products. Those products that are in stock have been added to the Seconds Shop,
but does not mean that they have flaws!
They are just migrated over here to let everyone know that it’s your last chance to purchase them
What are “Seconds”?
“Seconds” are marked down items that have varying flaws such as: Glaze irregularities, various degrees of warping, kiln debris, small cracks, large pinholes, and testers. Minor imperfections could include anything in the above categories but are extremely minor. Every item has been inspected and categorized accordingly. Please pay attention to the drop down selection you choose as each flaw is specified. Every item is marked down according to its flaws. All purchases are Final Sale. No refunds or exchanges.
When will “Seconds” be updated?
“Seconds” are now updated with each restock. You will find them in the “Seconds Shop”. We never know until that restock what various flaws will be present, so with any “seconds” item, please double check the flaw you desire to purchase.
Examples of Flaw Categories:
-
This includes any type of imperfection but extremely minor. May include small glaze imperfections, kiln debris, minor warping and other very small variances that do not pass quality standards.
-
Glaze imperfections can include small bubbles, Large pinholes, under-fired glaze or a weird marking.
Kiln Debris : This includes any flecks from the kiln, kiln wash or fiberglass. Typically, it is a small isolated piece that is raised on the surface of the glaze.
-
Minor Warping - This level of warping is extremely minor and will always be categorized Minor Imperfection.
Warping - This level of warping is a little more significant. If you use a lot of water when painting, your paint may pull in areas of the palette. Items in this category are leveled with buttons but may have a couple extra for good measure.
Severe Warping - This level of warping is not recommended for watercolor use. If you choose this category, be aware that water will drip down the palette or the table. Convex and concave warping is included in this category. Items in this category may or may not be leveled with buttons.
