Memberships open in January.

Looking for a dedicated space to practice your craft? The Studio Membership offers flexible access to Sylvan Clayworks for independent, self-led practice or guided wheel sessions. Whether you’re refining your skills or developing a personal body of work, these memberships give you the flexibility, community, and resources to keep creating.
With the option of 20 or 28 hours of studio time each month, you’ll have the tools and atmosphere to bring your ideas to life. Space is limited and available to artists with prior pottery experience.

20 self-led practice hours per month (flexible scheduling)
Artist Mentorship — $325/month
Class Hours: Thursdays, 10 AM – 1 PM
Practice Hours: 16 self-led hours per month (flexible scheduling)
Included with All Memberships
Monthly auto-debit (3-month minimum commitment)
Reserved shelf space for tools and ongoing projects
Access to studio wheels, tools, glazes, and firing facilities
Member Google Calendar for booking studio time
Access to Members-Only Slack community
Quarterly Member Supper ($10 food fee)
Annual Holiday Cup Exchange (December)

Studio Memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment. This allows members to settle into their practice, become familiar with studio rhythms, and form part of the creative community at Sylvan Clayworks.
After the initial 3-month term, memberships continue on a month-to-month basis. It can be canceled with 30 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.

Clay: $50 per block (purchase as needed)
Firing Fees: $5 per pot after the first shelf included per month
